Important information when your pet is staying with us

What to bring for your pet's stay

You will need to bring your pet's food, meds. or vitamins if they take anything.  Treats and something small from home if you wish,  for example a small blankets, a tee-shirt of yours, etc. Their current vaccine records from their vet.  A current dog license.

What not to bring for your pet's stay

Please do not bring the following:  Dog toys with squeakers inside of them, they can pose a choking hazard.  Dog beds and comforter, we have every type of bed your pet could ever need plus our washing machine is not able to handle the amount of laundry we receive on a busy checkout day.   Bowls, unless your dog requires raised dog dishes, our sanitizer  has been known to melt certain dishes so we prefer to use our own.  Litter boxes, we supply disposable boxes and the litter.

Required Vaccines for your pet's stay

Dogs are required to have their yearly vaccines we also require the H3N8 and Bordetella vaccines.   H3N8 is given in a 2 part vaccine.  The initial vaccine and a booster administered 2 - 4 weeks later.  Please be advised that there are a couple Vets in our area that still do not offer the H3N8 vaccine.   If your Vet is one of the ones who doesn't offer it and you still want to board with please give us a call and we can give you the numbers of Vets who will give it and not charge an additional office fee.

Cats are required to have their yearly vaccines along with a current Feline Leukemia Vac.

We also recommend having your pet on a monthly flea medication.

Meds and Insulin

We do not charge for administering Meds. or Insulin but we do ask that you have it packaged and clearly labeled with the pets name, time schedule, and amount to be administered.
